About

Growing up in and around New York City and now based in Los Angeles, Stacy is no stranger to the creative arts and hair world. She earned a B.A. degree in Theatrical Arts from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and was accepted into the professional training program at The Juilliard School for Hair and Wigs, Wig Building and Makeup.

After training at The Juilliard School, Stacy was recruited by the Hair Department of Mamma Mia in 2009 which began her journey of working in practically every hair department and hit legacy show across Broadway; including: Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Mary Poppins, The Book of Mormon, Spiderman: Turn off the Dark & Cindy Laupers: Kinky Boots. She was the hair supervisor of The Roundabout Theater Company's production of Look Back in Anger starring Adam Driver and Matthew Rhys. Throughout her time on Broadway, Stacy also attended The Carsten Aveda Institute for Cosmetology and soon after was accepted into The Hair and Makeup Union: Local 798.

Upon moving to Los Angeles, she began her work as an Indie Film Hair Department Head. She landed a job department heading an LGBT film called "RETAKE" starring Tuc Watkins (Desperate Housewives) and Devon Graye (Dexter) in March 2015, which has been chosen as an Official Selection at Outfest 2016. Thanks to director Megan Griffith's (The Off Hours, Lucky Them) she has had the privilage of working side by side with Lou Diamond Phillips (Longmire, La Bamba) and Bellamy Young (Scandal) on the 2016 Lifetime Original Movie: "The Night Stalker".  Stacy has also been scooped up by the Duplass Brother's Production company (Togethernes, Tangerine, The One I Love) in January 2016 as their "go-to" Hair Stylist. She has since had the honor of working closely with Taylor Schilling (Orange is the New Black), Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story, Carol, OJ Simpson), Mark Duplass (Togetherness), Jay Duplass (Transparent) and Melanie Lynskey (Two and a Half Men, The Intervention); and looks forward to a film slated to begin October 2016 starring Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development) and Leia Costa (Victoria) directed by Miguel Arteta (The Good Girl).

Stacy is experienced in film, television and commercial production and has worked on a multitude of independent productions since moving to Los Angeles in 2014.
